This policy explains what AI Cite Check, operated by AI Cite Check, collects and why.

What we collect

The domains and topics you submit, the reports we generate, a session cookie used to count your free checks, your email if you sign in, and basic request data such as IP address for rate limiting.

Who we share it with

Your topic is sent to the AI providers we query (Perplexity, and OpenAI when ChatGPT or the fixes write-up is used) to produce your report. Payments are handled by Stripe; we never see your full card number. The site is hosted on Vercel. We do not sell personal data.

Reports

Reports are reachable by anyone who has their link. Don’t put confidential information in a query.

Your choices

You can clear your cookies at any time, and you can ask us to delete data tied to your email.

We may update this policy and will post the new version here.
